4. When it comes to oaths, are you personally comfortable taking them or not? How does this passage impact you in this?
5. In the message Alvin talked about freedom for the Christian when it comes to oaths. Do you have further questions or comments that you would like to talk about regarding oaths?
6. Regarding application, Alvin mentioned 2 areas. Truthfulness in all our speech and follow through on our word. Which of these two areas needs to be the focus for you and how can you grow in it?
7. Growing in truthfulness and follow through may be one of the ways that Christians can do our good works before men so that they will glorify God in heaven. Why might this be true as you consider what it means to be salt and light, bringing the kingdom to earth?
