As soon as I send Artemas or Tychicus to you, do your best to come to me at Nicopolis, because I have decided to winter there. Do everything you can to help Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their way and see that they have everything they need. Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order to provide for urgent needs and not live unproductive lives. Everyone with me sends you greetings. Greet those who love us in the faith. Grace be with you all.

1. What insight, principle or observation from this week’s message did you find to be most helpful, eye opening or troubling? Please explain.
2. Are you a details person or a big picture person? What is the most meaningless task or mundane job you have ever had to do? Was it difficult to stick with it? Why or why not?
3. Read Titus 3:12-15. Paul really gets into some specific details. Often we skip over these kinds of passages cause they seem too detailed and boring. Do you think we can also be tempted to skip over the more mundane parts of life and service?
4. What parts life, serving and being a Christian do we often not look to as all that important?
5. Read Matthew 10:42. What does Jesus think about the details and the mundane parts of serving and the Christian life? What should this mean for us in our lives of following Jesus?
6. Read Titus 3:14 again. What is the specific way Paul calls Christians to not live unproductive lives? Paul gets pretty practical and specific. What are some practical and specific ways you live productively in your Christian life?
7. Do you feel like you are someone who can do really big things for God? Why or why not? How does a teaching like this encourage you that you can be impactful even though you may not be up front and visible in the world or the church?

The Mundane Matters - As we live lives devoted to Good under God, the little things, the seemingly unimportant things, are counted as important. The Christian life then, is not just about the big things, but also about the little things.
- Being devoted to Good under God, even in the details and mundane parts of life are important because it shows that the gospel has affected our lives.
- Faith ought to affect us enough that we have an effect on others.
- Real faith in us leads to real fruit in us.

Ask yourself "What are the areas where you are devoted to Good, in the small things? Where are you serving? Serving others in the church or outside the church? Consider how you can get involved, even in the small things.
