Gather your friends and come out to support MTO Reach Counselling!

On March 2nd we will be hosting a Fundraising Trivia Night! MTO Reach is a non-profit counselling practice that provides accessible rates to those in financial need in our community. We are only able to provide this needed service through the help of generous donors!

So for the sake of accessible mental health support in Kneehill County, lets all get ready for a night of fun, trivia, and delicious desserts!

Tickets are $20/person or $100/table of 8.

This week our global workers are Rod and Donna Black working with Fellowship International. The Blacks live in Edmonton and Rod is juggling three roles: assisting his team in Pakistan with print and audio-visual resources, coaching churches in small group development, and leadership development in South and South East Asia. 

"Rod coaches several personnel in his mission. One of the new workers named Jesse is planning to go to Japan, and has been serving in a Japanese church in Toronto as well as gathering Japanese students studying in Canada who want more social life and a chance to study Christianity. The group have been impressed by the life that Jesse and his girlfriend have been living in front of them, and this has led to many conversations about faith and religion.

One of the men in the group, who is not yet a believer, heard of another Japanese student who was going to be in between rentals. This man contacted Jesse and said, “I told this student that your group would take care of him until he can get into his new rental. I knew you would help because that is the kind of people that you are.” Then the man added, “that’s the kind of people we are in this group.”

How powerful a living example can be! These students are seeing what real, authentic faith is, and it is changing their hearts and their minds. Pray that all in the group would come to know Jesus as Savior and Lord, and live the same kind of example to their world.

This is a wonderful event to support. Helps many of those in our community and 

surrounding area!!
