We are excited to announce the beginning of something new here at Mount Olive!! "Near & Beyond". It's a ministry for those who are near retirement 60+ and for those beyond retirement 75+. Starting Feb 13 we will launch it with a soup and sandwich meal with a guest speaker. Pastor Paris will walk us through the new church center app and how to use it. This new app will house our family directory and so much more.

This will replace our Seniors Coffee each month! So plan on attending our lunch the second Thursday of each month. Lunch will start at 12:00pm and end around 2:00pm.

We are looking forward to seeing all of you "Near & Beyond" people there!!

Please let the office know if you are able to make it so we can have enough lunch for everyone.

Hey all! Here it is again! MTO Reach's second annual TRIVIA NIGHT! Come on out for a time of competition, test your knowledge and support a great cause! This evening is a great opportunity to see what MTO Reach is all about and participate in the mission that we have to make clinical counselling accessible to all of Kneehill County and surrounding area! Bring your friends and come on out for a great night! 

We are excited to launch the Church Center App for Mount Olive. If you are a part of the Mount Olive Community we encourage you to download the app on your device or view it on your computer.

On Church Center you will find all that you need for being a part of this community. We will post calendar events, your ministry serving roles, groups and the church pictorial directory.

If you have connected before with the office, we already have you in the system and all you will need to do is install the app and using your phone number or email to get connected.

If you have not registered with the office your phone number or email, it will prompt you to set up a new account.

Once you have gone through the simple registration process you will have access to the Church Center App for Mount Olive.

If you would like to be included in the Pictorial Directory, you will need to stop by the welcome center or the church office to verify that your information on the church center app is you. This is for privacy issues. Once permission is given to the welcome center and or the office you will have access to the pictorial directory and you will have to share the various information you want to share with others.

Please note, the former church pictorial directory will no longer be available after Christmas and you can access the updated directory in Church center App.

"As we are just six weeks out from leaving, our Mexico team wanted to give you a quick update. First, we are so thankful for and blown away by your support. Our Taco Lunch Fundraiser was a great success with delicious food and many people, and your generosity above has been a gift. We are still fundraising and if you are wanting to support the team financially there are many ways you can do that. Secondly, as we prepare can you pray for us for unity as a team, for flexibility as we are in Mexico, and for growing excitement to serve the ministry and space in Hermosillo. And for Wade and Adele Hammond as they serve and prepare to receive us. Finally, can I encourage you each ,as our church, to find one of the members on our team on a Sunday and chat with them for 5 minutes about the trip. Allow them to share their heart and passion with you, gift them with your encouragement, and let us rally as a church sending this team out to minister in the Gospel through our labour."

It was great to see many of you in person at Christmas! When we returned to Mexico, we spent a week in our village home wrapping things up before leaving for 6 weeks in Mitla and then our home assignment. We visited with three different school contacts, sharing literacy materials and deepening connections, and translated for a visiting medical team as well as packing up our house and saying goodbyes. We are now in Mitla where Kevin is participating in a Tone Workshop as the workshop administrator and as a consultant. Pray for the seven Mexico branch teams who are participating to make good progress in understanding how the tone systems work in the languages they are studying and pray for the consultants to be able to provide good insight and assistance. Pray for endurance for everyone as this is a long workshop. Once the workshop is done, Laurel has a week of executive committee meetings. Please pray for wisdom for the committee as there are some important changes happening in our organization. Finally, please pray for our travel back to Canada Feb 27-28 for our home assignment. We are so grateful for your partnership with us, and for the love and care you show us over and over. Thank you!
