Join us for a transformative and joyous occasion as we celebrate Baptism Sunday! Baptism is a powerful outward expression of an inward decision to follow Jesus. It is a moment where individuals publicly declare their faith and commitment to walk with Christ. Whether you are just starting your journey or have been part of the faith for a while, Baptism Sunday is an opportunity to witness the beauty of lives being changed through the grace of God. We invite everyone to come together in worship, support, and encouragement as we cheer on those who have chosen to take this important step in their spiritual journey. Join us for a festive lunch of delicious food and fun as we celebrate the season with a Potluck Lunch alongside our exciting Christmas Silent Auction! Let’s come together as a community to enjoy each other’s culinary creations while supporting a great cause. Join Us for Our AGM Meeting! We warmly invite you to attend our Annual General Meeting. This will be held after our potluck at 1:00pm. This is a great opportunity to connect, share ideas, and contribute to our church's future. There will be a movie playing for the older kids upstairs and nursery for the littles. If you want to help volunteer in those areas let Nicole know. |

Youth Ministry
SR/JR High events this week!!!! Mustard Seed Event: Our Junior High Youth are heading to the Mustard Seed in Calgary on Nov 20, and as part of our trip we will be providing wellness kits to people experiencing homelessness in Calgary. If you would like to support this trip by dropping off donations from the above list, we would love for you to be involved that way. Whether it is a bulk amount of an item, a whole premade wellness kit (in a small reusable bag), or finances to enable us to buy supplies for the wellness kits we would love your support as our Youth learn about the work Jesus is doing in Calgary, and how to serve through it. Parenting is challenging, at times confusing, and often lonely. Or so I have heard, and am sure will one day learn. Our desire as a church is to equip you and connect you to raise your kids in the Way of Jesus through every stage of life. This is why we have started Youth Parent Connects. These events are not a time where we are going to teach you how to parent (I have zero experience or authority there); but they are a time to come together and learn. We want you to meet other parents who are in the same trenches of parenting as you, but with their own perspective and wisdom. We hope you can encourage one another, sharpen one another, and bear each other's burdens. All of this in the context of receiving information on relevant cultural and theological topics that impact the faith formation of teens today, which you then apply together in your homes and communities. We hope these events will strengthen you, connect you, and allow you to see your teens become more like Jesus in the long run. |
